reading and understand underground maps

applying problem solving and troubleshooting techniques

applying techniques to construct drains, layer, level and mark out

selecting and using the required tools and equipment

working safely around other machines and personnel

works effectively with others to undertake and complete wheel grader operations in underground mines meeting all of the required outcomes, including:

using a range of communication techniques and equipment to convey information to others

maintaining written and verbal reporting requirements and procedures

demonstrates completion of conducting wheel grader operations in underground mines that safely, effectively and efficiently meets all of the required outcomes on more than one (1) occasion including:

driving and operating a wheeled grader for underground operations

adjusting equipment operations to suit site conditions

leveling out a minimum of 500 metres of underground road

demonstrating the following:

constructs drains

layer ground

unloading supplies in a safe manner

steering clear or the wall/rib in confined areas
